About the name...
It comes from a mondegreen for Blur's "Song #2", which goes "I got my head shaved by a " - and nobody has the slightest idea what they say next. It's supposed to be "jumbo jet". Yeah, I don't get it either.
Anyway, I used it for a computer name, and when I needed a name for TWoP, I couldn't think of anything clever. At the time googling it turned up one other confused Blur fan and nothing else. Now 90% of the hits are me, on TWoP. I kind of like having a name nobody else has; google my full name and 99.999% of the hits are also me (there's one hit that isn't, but she's only done one thing that made it to the web)
So mostly what I do here is write Harry Potter fanfic. Much to my surprise, as I never scored very high in creative writing. (I blame the teachers - when we covered Julius Caesar the girls and boys had different assignments. Girls got "what is Caesar's wife thinking during the assassination?" I put "not much, since she wasn't there so she didn't know it was happening". That didn't go over very well, for some reason.)
